WENT TO THE FINAL AND LOST ON A BAD STAGE .DIDNT GET INTO THE BEEMS ENOUGH AND LIGHT STUNK .COULDNT DRIVE UNDER HIS .038 PKG. AND PUSHED IT PAST HIM BY .007UNDER ON MY .09 DIAL . WE GOT THE TURBO 4DR INTO THE 8.50 INDEX BUT THE QUICKER WE BROUGHT BOOST IN THE BETTER IT RAN OUTTA THE HOLE TO THE 660 BUT THEN THE INTAKE TEMP JUST SKYROCKETED AND IT WOULD LOOSE THE GAIN DOWN LOW ......NEED TO GET THE EFI AND INTERCOOLER!!!!

At what point (psi) does the intake temp skyrocket?

dont know the actual psi as the charge temp is held by the fluke multimeter on a k-probe in manifold and all other data is on the wide band aux box . we were at 190+ climbing at 28 psi with f methanol nozzles flowing from 6psi and wide open throttle . .the compressor wheel took some tire tread through it on a front tire blow out at 150 mph. rick cleaned it up ....the new engine is just not happy . we got better heads to try and a small front mount intercooler if we can get it done before the shakedown@e-town

Made it to the fourth round and lost by 0.010 at the tree.
Car was within 0.023 all day, and lights were ok, no red for first race in 2 years.

Another win at holiday raceway 2k footbrake race. The racer that runner upped was also running on e85, and he also won run for the money. Love the corn!

Justus suggested I post my results on here. I have just won the Australian V8 superboat championships (www.v8superboats.com.au) in the restricted 350 chev class. I have run e85 all season with a carbie Justus built for me. I was the first and still the only one to run my boat on e85 but a few of the more knoledgable guys have noticed how strong my engine is running and started asking me about e85.
It is difficult to get a direct comparison due to the nature of our racing but based on my datalog's my boat was about 1.5seconds faster on a 40sec track direction than on unleaded. The engine also runs much smoother and seems to have more torque for pulling through corners.
Cheers Daniel
