Well got run the car again first practice 7.262 second pass 7.259 dailed a 7.25 first rd went 7.266 and on brakes got beat second rd left the dailed the same and pumped it 3 times went 7.243 on the 7.25 .....

so it picked up after a little hot soak or what else changed?
i got to fix a starter ,flex plate and ignition switch ...
PYPES AND PERFORMANCE YEARS was having a big cruise carshow and race this weekend so we supported our sponsor by doing it all . the dang ignition switch melted and starter ran on at the show. ...... thanks to performance years pontiac parts for having a switch and gettin us home

Well not sure I went to eric's track which is new hope and the air was ok only thing I changed was my high speeds to 28 from 25..... last pass the mid track picked up .02 from the pass before and just didn't have a light to save my self .....

Today let my brother drive the car first pass went 7.330 second pass went 7.352 and ran the same mph only thing changed was mid track .015.....so we dailed 7.33 first rd and he had a BAD light never lifted went 7.325 so broke out by .005 on that pass the mid track picked up .025....and 60 was .020 better not sure what the deal is still learning the only made 35 passes this year so far

the sportsman finals had kenny bryant taking the win over scotty weaver after both racers dialed an 8.23 and decided to race the finals on a .5 pro tree... yes there was a lot of pedeling but it was a great race.

WELL second s/s race of season is postponed i got four rounds in with the crazy weather and rain till the called it to continue during qualifying next month .( i think they just wanted to hold the purse for 4 weeks )
i kinda had a brain storm with jetting and fatten up,jet , idle curcut and bleed to get it on main faster . wow what a difference in reaction time . car was same mph with a little better 60 foot and was about the same et .after wind died down car was .o04 off in three passes to the 1000ft. and the wind got me for .025 fast in one time shot and .013 for the other .. man when we hit the summer doldrums this thing wont need shoepolish to dial in permanent vinal will work .

well not a bad day at all the car was perfect all day went 7.252 off the tralier then had tranny problems and still was able to run .....second pass 7.273......3rd pass 7.267 rd 1 went a 7.274 rd2 went 7.275......rd3 went a 7.267 on a 7.26 ......4th rd went a 7.265....and left to much at the tree i was 568 to his 519 ..made it to 8 cars ........think my vavle body is bad changing it out this week

Ran with the Carolina Gassers Saturday at Pageland,S.C. It was hot & humid with a threat of rain, but we got it in. I didn't win, but made the final round anyway. I hope to win one soon.  |
