Hey... everyone post your weekly results here!
ME: I stunk up the place with a bad stage... too deep, knew I would redlight, so I hesitated with a .102 light and ran dead on... what a waste of E85!
My buddy Anthony won a local "big bucks" race at another track also running E85. He has a Chevy Wagon with a 440 Dodge running 7.05 in the eighth
Heath, Adam, ?? Let's hear the stories!

I little tough at 150 mph Adam but I'll give it a shot, love the story, thanks. BTW we changed heads on the Henry J last week and ran a 6.007 off the trailer, went two rounds and lost in a double break out 5.96 to 5.98. To much happy button (nos) on this one. I'm loading up some pics right now of the pistons after 4 years of hard running under a blower on E85. Ya'll want believe how new they look. After we pulled the intake I did my best to find some black anyway in the intake track and nothing. You could have run your finger into every port with white gloves and they would still look like they did when you first put them on.

it's never too fast as long as the guy is pacing you to just take the stripe . worst part was it was a good friend and he ending up not qualifying that yr by 1 round . hell i've give and go on 7 sec diggers . with fake brake lights . the best is the flag just legal at ride hight on the rad support .if you stuff the stripe you actually pic up et

Ran the PTRA Divisional at Mooresville Dragway on July 4th. We were sitting 2nd in points with the Henry J. Qualified #1 with a 6.000 but they went to R/T because there was another 6.000 run. Was suppose to have the bye 1st round but ended up having to race for it. My Pop, Justus Daniel was driving and cut a to close for comfort .001 light and took the easy lifting win. Delay boxes are allow but on the .400 pro tree we never had to run one but now it looks like we're going to have to start because he went .021 red in round two. Ol well with the qualifying points and the round win I'm sure our position is safe for now. May miss the next race with a baby on the way very soon and Pop having hernia surgery but should be back at it soon.

Ran a $5K to win this w/e. Car was deadly yet again but I screwed myself...AGAIN!. Car ran 6.47 1st round. Air temp went from 90° to 100° between rd. 1 and rd. 2. I dialed 6.48. Car ran 6.47. I gotta start trustin' the corn .....and stop changing my dial.

Hipster pro aluminum old school, one of the first that came out. He may have took a bit of a bite out of the line but I should have done a better job tuning. We had way more than we needed so I could have killed the leave 500 plus and still been to the good after I saw his .001 light in round one. I just had my head up my 4th point of contact, you military guys and girls will get that one.

New engine hit the track last night.
Old engine was dialed 5.67 in 88 degree weather when it last ran 4 weeks ago. New block with all the same rods, pistons, heads, intake carb... slightly thicker head gasket (.053 MLS Felpro).
It was 70 degrees and Double Points, Mulligan, Buyback night! The beast ran 5.658 off the trailer :-) The next two time runs were 5.646 and 5.642.
First round was a 5.636 on a 5.63 dial in, second was a 5.630 on 5.63. I pulled the tires up about 6 inches on that launch! Felt good!
I made it to 13 cars and had a .064 light straight from The Twilight Zone??!?! (worst had been .023, best .003 - against our points leader :-)
It ran 5.624 on a 5.62 dial that last run. It was in the 50-degree range and dew had fell.
My daughter was racing junior dragster for the first time, so I did not double enter and I forgot to record any of the runs on the LM-2 wide band.
I have 96/97 jets in the 850 with .028/.053 bleeds. 96 squared or 95 squared may make it run even more consistent, but it was deadly predictable as it is. Got home at 2:30 AM, Brother in law split the final with another friend... stayed to watch him win.
Tim out!
