He probably left it in because when I sent the carb to him it was still set up as it was on 112 octane and had PV up front and rear and was 88's Squared

when you take the P/V out they make a plug/block off version of a P/V, install it and square the jets up, what ever is in the rear put the same in the front to start with and see how it is, good luck

Hey big d. He may have left the PV in the primary to help drivability. Dominators tend to be rich at part throttle. Having the PV helps clean that up a little. I'm with Bean on blocking it off. Mine are blocked. The way I see it, it's one less thing to fail.

I agree I popped a PV in the 1050 QFT I had on it last year and it made me mess up a great weekend still went 5 rounds but mother luck was with me. I know its running well but can really improve just got to keep testing I only live 3 miles from my home track but due to poor track conditions I have to travel 55 miles to go test but its worth the drive when you can hook up and make good passes. Plus its nice to hit different tracks and I need to get use to this car so far I really am impressed with how its all working. I will keep you guys posted and have a good one maybe I can start killing the tree too now that I got my trans brake back too. Good luck you guys talk to ya soon thanks Bean and triplenickel!!!

Hello Nickel how's it going??? no racing I see well I hope to be getting mine all finished up soon, had to take the engine back out and fix the oil pan leek, I used one of the 1 piece gaskets and that pregnant dog leaked everywhere so I put a regular type on it and putting it back into the car today, them I will be taking it to Springville Al. to finish my cage and tin work, mount my delay box and window net, then go and text in AL some where

Hey Bean got my PV plug put it in squared the jets at 104's and I got my tune back. I have not raced it yet I am going tomorrow. But I have my Idle right plenty of life on the hit takes about 10 minutes to hit 160* degrees with the fan on at idle and wont really get over 170* unless your on it. Runs Sweet though as far as cooling it snd still lots on the pedal. I will keep you posted. But I got the old type of tune I was looking for. Thanks Bean talk to ya later!!

when you start it leave everything OFF until it builds heat, no fans period let it get hot when you first crank it up to like 200 then turn on the water pump and fan, also you may have to lean it a tad if it still takes to long to warn up or install a lean out valve anyway good luck

We went Racing today bean my 60' times have improved alot with this car my old chassis which was a 3800 Lb G body were 1.57/1.56 This chassis here first 2 passes today were 1.47/1.47 But after the hit I am leaving off the 2 step built into my 7al2-plus and I put a 3800 chip in the 2 step I have a 4000 9" ATI treemaster stall and its leaving hard. The guy I got this chassis from tuned this chassis for almost a whole season so it would leave light up front but not yank the wheels which is really perfect when I watch the video it looks like the rear is squatting hard and the front is just barley touching the ground until your out about 300'. Anyways it was nosing over so I rejetted it to a102 squared it went to a 1.45 60' and picked up a tenth running 6.61 in the 1/8 the 2 passes then a 6.62 afterwards. I remembered you guys saying if it falls off drop 2 jets and try it was a 6.81 first 3 passes today leaving hard but nosing over. No popping or any issues like that but just running flat after the hit. IDK what to expect out of this car and if it stays at 6.60 with good 60' times I work on the tree I am winning. I got knocked out Dialed a 6.67 ran a 6.669 lost by a thousandth of a sec on a .022 reaction just getting use to this chassis. Its gonna be trial and error I know but the numbers are solid and stay really tight. I am Geeked!!!!

Nice bigD! If it was nosing over with 104's & you picked up a bunch by dropping to 102's, you're probably still fat & can try leaning it out some more! What % is your fuel?

Nickel, I think they said its 80% rite now so maybe down 2 more will help but it does look pretty good now but it won't hurt to try
