I will say I had a good weekend ran a shakedown 6.02 1st qualifying 6.04 2nd qualifying 6.02 was number 4 qualifier out of 6.. Had to race the number 3 guy first round and beat him with a 6.03 to his 6.41. Second round had to run the number 1 qualifier, he qualified with a 5.96.. Lost to him with my new personal record 5.93 1.29 60foot 3.82 330 116.67 mph to his 5.90 pass at 117.4..

good job JP, you could have covered that .03 if you had a better light LOL!!! what did you do to go from a 6.02 to a 5.93??? .09 thats a lot

I was .088 he was .029.. I been staging at 3800 or 4000 and paying with the timing all day. He was faster then me so what the heck I'll just turn the thing up, so I put it on 4200 and shifted it at 8000

how have you been doing Chris (Triplenickel)? me I'm just getting by barely but whatever, hope you and yours are doing fine, have you been doing any racing? how's the cars running? anything new going on down your way? I would have liked to have come out your way by now but we are still having issues with our situation, you know what i'm talking about rite? anyway got the beanbird running and testing going down the road and it runs good but I did not like the tranny and the way it shifted so I removed the C-6 and now replacing it with a T-400 and a 8" converter got the JW bell to adapt it and I got a TCI flexplate coming so it won't be long now hopefully, I have a S/S driveshaft leftover from the Buick stuff that I will use in it, I would like to sell it and have one built for it but I don't know of anyone with a chevelle that needs a really good driveshaft, anyway I'll hit you up later dude.

Finally got the roadster out to the track a couple of months ago. Been racing it with my son driving(built it mostly for him). Haven't raced the dragster this year. Needs a flywheel & starter & need to send the fuel pump to be checked & change to new style barrel valve. Me & a friend of mine bought my old Camaro back. You got the TH400 in da bird yet?  |
