Ok so going in to sat carb was 83-94 jets with 63 IAB and 27 HSB ..we put 18 runs on the car this weekend so round by round is a little fuzzy for me LOL..car still acts rich at idle and MPH is a touch off and at light throttle ..we got a pop in the exhaust..does it you are cruzeing in the pits in second gear low rpms don't hardy do it if you keep it first gear,, so low rpms and light throttle and only after the run,,does not do this going up to the staging lanes. does it when you stop at the E.T shack and take off lightly..?? and it is hard to get any heat in the motor. so sun morning I change the IAB to .065 to clean up idle and help get some heat in it and change the HSB to 27 to richen it up on the high side to try to get back some mph and change front jets to 86 again to help the mph..all this seem to help..not as rich at idle but still seems rich to me..Just sounds ratty not crisp and clean .. mph is still not there. not sure HSB and Jet change did anything for it ? I am thinking I need to jet it up a little more ? need to know what to do about this pop in the exhaust ..not sure..maybe something in the intermedit circuit ??

if your on the power valve it is like a lite switch . if blocking off and going 92/ 94 its gone and car picks up mph we know the pv circuit is weak if it just gets rid of cruise surge/miss than we can reduce the channel restrictions down so your fuel is good but the split is more a 89-94 ....this will tend to like a leaner idle and less pump shot late .....remember the mixture is a wide spread for good burn found most idle circuits want to be a tad richer on the mixers and alittle more throttle /idle screw to bring it up off slots faster ..... just seems to work should sound kinda nasty but snap right up off idle with a hard rev. ...no lil thud dadump just a bark .(hard to explain a tuners ear for right)
