For anyone in the Charlotte, Hickory NC area We are putting a 4000 gallon E85 tank at our facility in Lincolnton NC. As you know in the winter months the blend changes to E75. We will be handling only true E85 blend for racing purposes. Anyone needing fuel for the racing season can drop us a email or call us and we can supply you with HIGH GRADE E85. Our email is performance_inc@bellsouth.net, and phone is 704-735-0202. Ask for BRET

Bret I'm copying your post to the PTRA message board. A ton of racers in this area visit there often. I have been spreading the word about your place. When is the pump going to be ready?

Heath, The pump should be up and running in a few weeks. As you know E85 in the winter months is cut more with gas E72 to E75. We will have true E85 year round. The only way you can get E85 now is if your gas station has had a large volume of E85 since last year. We are paying extra to have our ethanol % at 85 year round. We still are planning on keeping the cost as low as possible. While most gas stations have 10,000 gallon tanks on had we decided to have 4000 gallons. As you know Ethanol adsorbs water, so we wanted to turn our supply around quickly to maintain quality. We had a problem this past week @ mooresville. We run fuel injection and had our engine programmed for E85, but after testing the fuel we only had E72. We ran very rich and broke up down the track. That was the turning point for us. We decided we our tired of chasing the mixture and want absolute E85 every time, so that is why we are putting in the tank. We also think that we are not the only ones chasing this problem so supplying the E85 to the race community with quality fuel without ripping the racer off will help us all. One last note. At our shop in Lincolnton we have a Mustang 1750 DE chassis dyno if any racer needs to tune his setup. This dyno can run to 250 MPH and control 2000 HP. Thanks Bret
