Which would be the best and maybe cheapest one to convert to E85? An alchol carb or a gas carb ? I have both and wonder which would be best to convert.
Is it possible to run a regular alky carb on E85 just by simple jet changes?
Thanks again Mark

The methanol carb would be the best base to start with especially if it has screw in air bleeds. The same things need to be changed in both with the exception of the boosters. The methanol carb already has bigger boosters which is something that may need to be change in the gas carb for E85. NO the total methanol carb can't just be simple jetted down. Trust me, we have tried it. Everything is wrong in the metering blocks for E85. The methanol blocks are just to big. For E85 you have to think half way between gasoline and methanol on most everything for it to work right.
