Are you are trying to use the box and then remove the box to use the t-brake and 2-stp to leave off the bootm?
If so what I did was used a weatherpack connector to plug into box and then had a jumper plug to put in place of the box that connected the two-step to the t-brake wire.
If your box does not have a 2-step connector on it then you will need to wire the 2-step to the same post as the t-brake.
What box do you have?

I think I understand what your asking. Wire your t-brake & 2step wires together on the connector that stays in the car. Then have a dummy connector to plug into the connector on the car that will jump the wire from your button to the t-brake/2step wires.

yep and i can still tie my line lock on the same wire that stays in the car too b/c my brother told me the box should keep everything active until the delay box releases it all

How many terminals does your delay box have & how are they labeled? Some boxes have a seperate terminal for linelock.

i wired two buttons one direct and one through the plug .so when i pull the box the other button still has my reverse and t/b and throttle control on it . so the steering wheel button is always active .also put a momentary switch on dash and a plug jumper on colum switch ....for true foot brake class i have to loosen harness and reach across to hit rev. to stop the whinners from saying im using a t/b .
with double buttons i never get mixed up in class racing its always left hand and box is always rt hand on shifter bracket button. with cross talk in super everywhere around hear the double hit feture of my sponsors biondo box never helped me (redlite) hell i asked Sal if they could switch it to take the slower one . after one yr of data i lost 3 races i could not have lost and only one was close enough to matter the other way being the slower car most of the time it was to close to help

I have the same box in my car and have the tbrake and 2 step wired together. As for the line lock I wired it direct to the box through the connector. On my jumper I wired the line lock to the 2-step and brake wire along with the 12v hot coming from the button.
If you use the line lock to do your burnout be sure to have a toggle swith intterupting the wire going to your connnector when bottom bulb racing.
