Just wanted to let you know i did the carb conversion yesterday on my BG825. It was very simple. If all goes well i should fire car tommorrow and maybe see the dyno this weekend.
I also picked up 5 gallons of E85 today in columbia sc at the spynx station off I77. I will check it tonight and see what it specs out at it was 1.56 a gallon.
Just for info this is a 410 windsor set up for PTRA performance street. Its just under 13/1 comp cam is pushing 700 lift. Has Vic Jr heads ported by RGM.

Tony needs to change the name of the class to "MEAN GREEN" or "SUPER CORN"I think about everyone is on E85 or changing over to E85 in performance street. ;D

I have to warn you guys, we just built a carb for Eddie Young and it sounded SUPER BAD when we tested it on the 'ol Camaro. This year should be a blast!!! ;D

OK SO MY WIFES CAR RUNS ALL THAT .CAN YA PORT THE INTAKE ? I HAVE A NASTY PERFORMER RPM WITH NO DEVIDER . WHAT ARE THE ET'S TO QUAL. I LIKE THE RESTRICTOR PLATE IT IS BIGGER THAN MY CARB! WE RUN INDEX UP HERE IN NJ ON A 500 PRO TREE BUT ANYTHING GOES AS FAR AS POWER ADDERS WE RUN A DELAYED VACUME SECONDARY AND NOS SHOT TO GO 12.00 @120 . THE BEST IS THE TURBO SBC 10.5 CAR WE CAN RUN 12.0 @125 OR 10.O @142 BY DUMPING BOOST BY TIME . FLAT OUT THE CAR RIPS IT IS NEXT ON E-85 SO WE CAN RUN 35 POUNDS ALLOUT IT IS A PAY TO PLAY RIDE

Well just finished the first warm up. It sounds if i may say myself like a monster. All i have to do now is a few road tests and off to the dyno.
I had to go to a differant gas station the stuff i got yesterday was only 70% but todays was almost 90%
Adam the dual planes CAN NOT BE PORTED and the plenum area has to remain untouched. You can gasket match to the heads but no welding or epexy.

Kinda different hu Kevin? E85s got some snap, crackle, pop over gas doesn't it? The e-tester is a handy thing to have, isn't it? Adam as far as times go you can check out the video in the testimonials section of the web site under Thompson Brother's Racing. You have to look quick but you can catch a glimpse of the board when they make their passes. They are the current record holder by the way at a 6.62 but I have feeling that record is in serious jeopardy this year cause it's done been broke "unofficially" on E85 and that was just the first tnt at slip and slide dragway too. ;D
