That hose looks fine to me. What is the filter flow rating and what is your pumps gph rating?

Thanks for the reply. The filter is 500gph, the pump is a bg220 and flows 220gph. I already have a steel mesh filter and was going to order some hose by russell that says nhra and alcohol compatible. store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=RUS-634180&N=700+115&autoview=skuI read the paper filter wont hold up in that canister, I was also worried about the summit brand line. But I'd rather listen to someone who has real world experience with this stuff!

Filter is fine, hose is fine. We haven't seen any ill affects on anything we are running it in including our street cars and trucks with regular rubber hoses and stock fuel pumps. Will it be a problem down the road? I don't know. What I do know is we are going on our fourth year with it in there like that and everything still looks, feels and runs like it did on gasoline or better. If something does break down and we can determine it to be a direct result from E85 I assure you that you all will be the first to know. Test it out for yourself too if you like. Buy some and put it in a jar then just drop all kinds of stuff down in it and let it sit for a while. Maybe you can find something out that will be helpful to the rest of us.

I have some extra -6 laying around from a project. I'll toss it in a jar of the good stuff tonight.
