Thanks!

What's up Jay, welcome to the board. Joe told me about your chat this afternoon and we think your El will LOVE E85. To answer your question yes more station are defiantly coming soon. I personally know of two ethanol plants being built in NC as we speak. One huge one is said to be operational by mid summer 2009. It's in Reaford just west of Fayetteville. It's being built by Clean Burn Fuels and financed (I think) by a group called East Coast Ethanol which is putting plants in up and down the eastern sea board. Goggle it, you'll see what I'm talking about. I believe the person in the white house now is also ethanol friendly, so yea, more is coming. We always keep 100 or so gallons on hand. We buy it at Fairway Fuel on Hwy 160 in Fort Mill SC. It's always there and always cheap. Joe wasn't bsing you when he told you that you could build a 13:1 motor and cruise it on the street. His Arrow is 14:1 and it loves it. Joe Smith has even run it in his '62 and it's 15.5:1 if you can believe that. What are you running in it now? I know you've seen the Hot Rod and Car Craft articles on the kind of power you can make with it. We are going on our fourth year running it in the Henry J and personally I can't see any reason to run anything else. I hear you are coming to the Carolina Gasser meeting so I'll see you tomorrow and we can talk more if you like.
