Thanks for putting together a great site. I meet a guy at Barona dragstrip(San Diego area) who was running e85 in his late model Camaro and it all made so much sense(and cents). My questions is about carbs, I've seen alot of alcohol carbs for sale on Race Junk .com and was wondering if they could be used or converted to be used with e85? Thanks, Pete

panheadpete welcome to the board and I love the name. I know for a fact that you can use everything on the methanol carbs except for the metering blocks and maybe the air bleeds in the top of the main body to run E85. The main wells in the meth. blocks are just to big and beside you are going to want to run a 1/4" (gasoline) jet anyway not a 5/16 "alcohol" jet to get you in the range you are going to want to be in. We have tried using a jet adapter and screwing gas jets in methanol blocks and it still just doesn't work. The passages are just to big. So if you can get a deal on a methanol carb than your over half way there. thanks for posting and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Thank you Heath. I'm building a new engine for my 37 Plymouth coupe, it's a 350 Chevy roller motor, Brodix heads,12.5 compression. I'm looking forward to learning more on E85 (We have 2 stations here in San Diego county)
