For those of you who have a subscription you already know but for those of you who don't check out the new issue of Drag Racing Action Magazine Feb '09 when it hits the stands. It's got two great write-ups about racing on E85. People this is it! E85 is the new racing fuel for the average weekend warrior just like us.

I was glad to see E85 getting some ink in that publication. They quoted Mr. Burns as saying that E85 was as corrosive as methanol. It was also stated that a paper filter can not be used with E85. I disagree on both counts. I have not experienced the same corrosiveness as methanol and have been running a paper filter for 2 years. Regardless, the exposure was good for the fuel. I would like to see it become more popular both for street and race cars. Smitty

I couldn't agree with you more Smitty. This reminds me of a story I heard once about a tomato farmer that grew tomatoes back when people thought they were poisonous. He stood on the court house steps and ate a tomato in front of a whole crowd of people before anyone would believe him. That's where I see we are today with E85. We have to show them before they will believe us. Keep up the good work man, I think most bracket and index racers will be running E85 soon or wondering what happened when they get beat by someone who is running it. As always thanks for your input Smitty.
