Well not a good start to the season!!! Made the first pass with no problems other than realizing that now I need an anitroll bar, after moving everything in quite a bit on each side the car is pretty unstable on the starting line, still went 7.26 spinning a bit, Rd 2 of practice staged the car let go of the button and POW!!! Blew the driveshaft out of the car. Hope is was just U-Joint failure, ruined the driveshaft and pinion yolk. Hopefully we'll get it ready for this weekend..

Good luck!! Hope you get it fixed!!
You are not alone... I have blown an axle and a tranny so far this year all at test and tunes only, last year no issues at all...Oh well

Well I see you found the next weak link!!!!!!!! When you dead hook things change allot real fast. Make sure you get the driveshaft angle correct. May want too check trans and conv. sometime the blow out a driveshaft will cause some more damage.

we took a quick look at the bellhousing last night as best as we could without pully it out, looks ok, What pisses me off is that they want $325 to build me another Driveshaft, 1350 joints yokes all that jazz, does that sound salty? I just don't want it to happen again, This thing has so much body roll now its ridiculous. Any ideas how to take care of that without the anti roll bar? Thinking about putting 4 shocks in the back, SERIOUSLY!

See what I am saying, two mounting holes one on inside of spring and one on the outside of the spring, I am thinking about trying it..

Put some double adj shocks on it that may control it. Will a stock chevy roll bar fit on it? You got rancho shocks? Could add a leave one one side of the springs. Sometimes you can clamp the springs toward the front and it will increase the spring rate on that side. Had to do that on the ole cyclone I had also added a thick leave to the pass side. Cal bars hit hard!!!!! I paid 350 for my shaft I just had one made over the winter with 1350 joints with thick wall shaft for my powerglide, yea I said glide I got one in it now. Went out two weeks ago and four passes where with in .0007 loaded it up and ready. After look at your pictures maybe angle the shocks out some at the bottom?

I figured anti roll bar was the best fix, we are putting the door bars in on the cage this week and beefing up the frame connectors too just a bit for precautionary reasons, took it out to tweak it some this weekend and it still isn't quite right, the d**n thing picked up a tenth in ET and I was trying to slow it down a tenth. 60's didn't vary .007 all day but it still gets pretty silly about 20 ft out, went from 1.52-1.54's to 1.48's just by making the change in tire size, it hooks like a champ but man its a handfull when you let go. Its getting close though..

Just build your own anti roll bar, its not hard. You will save yourself 250 and it will made to fit your car rather than the universal deals. You will love chasing me then. Got her slowed down to 7.40's and going to test Thursday looking for 7.60's. Its already paying off too. 3 finals in 2 weeks.
