Okay, got the timing locked, set at 34 degrees, engine warmed to 180, pulling 12 inches of vaccum (bouncing) and 10 inches in gear @ 950-1000 rpm's. To get the best reading with the vaccum gauge the mixture screws are about 1/4 turn or so from the bottom seat. I have not got to run it yet, but it does come up clean on the footbrake, 3600 rpm's. What do you guys think?

Was the wires backwards?

Had the wires right, had to bend 2 tabs over to lock the advance out.
