Hey Raland. Are you running E-85? Where do you buy your fuel? I'm curious how the Stripes E-85 is considering there is a new one about to open right by my house. I think I saw that Buccees may have E-85 as well.

I use stripes in League City off 96 it is typically 85% if it varies it goes up ti 87% . I am testing with it this off season . I haven't full committed to it for the race season , but it looks like i will run it all season next year . My pump gas setup is super consistant and im keeping it around . I typically buy fuel 25 gallons at a time 5 x 5 .

So there's no problem with the fuel breaking down quicker than race fuel? I go at least a month between races, sometimes more. Is the fuel ok to leave in the carb that long or longer?

I've stored e85 for up to 8-9 months with no problems. Needs to be in a sealed container elevated a few inches off the floor. White or clear containers need to be kept in dark conditions.

Stainless steel screen type filters are the best to use with e85. Ethanol attacks the glue in paper type filters.

It is not like Methanol , it is ethanol they are different in alot of ways . 6 monthes shouldnt be a problem . Maybe use 1 to 2 gallons more a race day . No big deal

Stainless steel screen type filters are the best to use with e85. Ethanol attacks the glue in paper type filters. I have a link in my first post and im looking for opinions on this type of filter . My fuel jugs are lime green "utility" jugs .

my jugs are green too, don't matter as long as they are plastic, NO METAL CONTAINERS, X-2 on stainless filters, the paper will work but only for a short while, the glue will start to melt good luck
