Looking to go from Methanol to E85

New to the thread and new to my truck.  I have a 83 Dodge D150 Show/Race truck, fully forged 440BB.  I got the truck from a good friend and he converted to Methanol because he couldn't figure out why it was getting hot.  I would like to enjoy the truck more and drive it on the street.  Methanol is $6+ a gallon here in San Antonio TX.  What kind of mods would I need to swap to E85 and what kind of Temp dif. would I see roughly?

Welcome murdamopar.
Give us some info on your fuel system. If it was set up for methanol, it should be more than adequate for E85. Your carb will have to be converted for E85 use. As far as temps, e85 will run cooler than gas, but not as cool as methanol. You will burn less fuel than with methanol.
