installed carb yesterday and drove it a little to warm it up took forever to get 160 it was only 50 here yesterday went down to my test road lauched the car soft then layed into it in 2nd through 3rd all i can say is wow sure fills faster than running 110 but the best thing was 3 passes back to back and the engine never got over 170 going to the wheel dyno on friday going to compare gas to E85 dyno numbers on gas my car pulled 467rwhp and 498rwtq will post E85 numbers after friday

Try and play with some jetting on the dyno if you have time. Sounds a bit fat to me which is how I like to start out on a new conversion. You will most likely see some power gains be backing down on the jetting. Let us know how it goes. Don't forget, 160 degrees is the magic number. Warm it up on the dyno before you flog it.

I will keep you posted on how it turns out I think it may be a little fat also and i'm renting the dyno just to tune the conversion the jets are95 squared with no power valve if i put the 4.5 power valve back in it what should the jetting be to start

The difference in running a power valve and not in the QF blocks is 8 jet sizes.

awesome job Heath I gained 47rwhp and 62 rwtq jetting was almost perfect only thing we changed was the high speeds from a #26 to A#25 it gained 10hp any other changes lost power the sniffer was right @ 10.8

That's good news Wally. I think that was a good move on keeping the annular boosters. Just out of curiosity what was the o2 reading at WOT with the #26 hsab?
