I'am REALLY interested in switching, but what I'am concerned about is the what if. are the e-85 stations going to stick around ? what happens if e- 85 becomes unavillable? In mich., they were building e-85 plants for production. but from what I'am hearing, they have stopped because of the lack of demand. just supposing they quit selling e-85 in my area can I switch my carb back? I truely hope this does not happen but what if

If you change back to gas, just re-install the gas blocks, ect. on your carb. My kit was a direct bolt-on, nothing that can't be changed back. Hope this helps.

Same here. I had the same thoughts. I bagged up everything for the front and rear of my carb separately, stuck them in a plastic coffee can, marked it with a Sharpie and stuck on a shelf. 20 minutes and I can be right back where I was before I switched.

All of this is true it is just a matter of undoing what you do. Old metering blocks, old squirters, jets, air bleeds and back on gas.

I'm hooked and will NEVER run racing fuel again. But I do live in the real world even though these past fours years have been like a dream running faster on something cheaper and cleaner than regular unleaded that's why my kits are the way they are. We're racers and will always be racers so "if" E85 is no longer available, which I doubt, we can still race. Seriously though I don't see it going anywhere any time soon. It's on all the military bases and as far as I know our government is behind it as a source of Independence from foreign fuels.

ethanol is being used instead of mtbe and is going out at 5-10% in all north east gas . ethanol will be as available as ever in 55 gal drums .
you can always mix it your self or finsh the conversion to methanol..... your 1/2 way there .....i got my injection switched over from methanol for 79$$$
a mixed drum of racing meth cost me 200$ ,race gas cost me 380$ a drum and e-85 is 98$ here . if it is faded out i will get a 250 gallon agriculture caged plastic tank and filler up!!!!! . i'm sure that some race shop or fuel depot will catch on and sell it . hell all the race gas companies are adding eth and meth to race gas to exspand the product line
