I'm building a new road race air cooled turbo car and would like to investigate running E-85. A/F is no problem since I'll use EFI, but I need info on the detonation resistance of E-85 verses race gas. Also, does E-85 burn faster than race gas? What problems / issues might I encounter? Thanks loads.

Hello michaelmount, thanks for writing in. You've got some good questions here and to be honest with you if ten different people read them you would probably get ten different interpretations and answers. However all is not lost. I'll be the first to tell you that I am not a scientist, just a racer that realized the benefits of this fuel fairly early on. There is a ton of info. on this subject for your application here forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?p=5639781#post5639781 Hope this helps and keep us posted on your build.
