Heath, I am in the process of building a sbc 383 with a 13:1 CR. I will be running it on E85 and I still need a carburetor for it. I figure that I need a 750 CFM Holley. I am working on a budget so I will be buying a used carb and your E85 conversion kit and doing the actual conversion work myself. The motor is going into a Nova with automatic transmission. Here are my questions: Do I need to find a 4150 carb or will a 3310 carb work also with your conversion kit? The car will be mostly used on the street and I like the idea of the vacuum operated secondaries. Do you think I will need a 750 CFM carb or should I be looking at something smaller? I will be using a hydraulic lifter street cam and aluminum heads. I want the motor to make at least 400 HP and 400 ft. lbs of torque. Do I need to increase the size of my fuel line? What fuel pump should I use? Thanks for your help, keeping me going in the right direction.
Heath, I also emailed you directly with the above questions.
