Well the weekend started off with a bang. Rolled up 1st pass of the weekend rolled off a .004 light 7.390, 2nd pass was .007 7.389, and the 3rd which was the run for the drum of VP fuel I wound up winning the fuel with a .001 light and running 7.395 for a .006 package, that was the only thing I did right losing the next 4 rounds i was on the track. Saturday was a lot better day as I was doubled and able to make it to 12 cars to run off and hand the win to the next lane, although the day didn't end like I wanted it to I was able to load one of the favorites of the event Rick Baher going .014 to his .030 and I was dead on 3 to his 1 under. Sunday wound up being the best day of the weekend as I was doubled and still in with both entries going into round 4, I was able to win one of those entries and took WAY to much stripe in the other, which put me up against the eventual runner up of the event at 6 cars losing to his .009 light and 1 above the dial. I won 3 gift certificates for best winning and best losing packages. All weekend the old Camaro and I made 28 passes down the track in 3 days. All in all it was a good time as usual but I hope they don't have it at Munie again as it was the MOST UNPREDICTABLE track I have EVER been on.

6/13/11
Well it was another weekend with chances of rain everyday but Sunday here in Indiana, so with Friday nights good chance of rain we decided to take the night off which turned out to be a bad decision as the race was ran to its completion before the rains came. As for Saturday what a long day! We ran our 2nd and final round of timeshots at about 6:30, then the rains came. The track made the call to wait it out as the radar showed it clearing after a breif shower. After drying the track 1st rd of elims started at about 10:30pm, well it was well worth the wait as we got the bye to the finals and then wound up winning the race with a final round pass of .012 on the tree running 7.381 on a 7.37 dial at 2:45am. Sunday we took the day off as well to recoup from getting home at 4am Sunday morning..

6/22/11
Last weekend was once again filled with rain in the forecast. We took Friday and Sunday off and went to LRP on Saturday. I was able to make it to the finals but came up .002 short of the win. I was .514 to his .512 and we were both dead on with a 6. Can't complain I just plain got beat.

Eric just read your column on TIBR. I like it.
I was just wondering if you fixed the stumble on the car at MPH cones? Wondering if we could help you here to fix the issue.

Last night was the Speeds Big Bucks Race paying $2000 to win in No Box and $1000 to win in Sportsman (footbrake). I was able to wheel the Camaro for the win in No Box and the Wifes Firebird for the Win in Sportsman. A great start to the weekend!!
