Have you tried leaning out the barrel valve some more to see if it will get leaner?

So your saying lean it out at idle? Which will lean it out some at very light cruising throttle? No I have not tried that.
What gap on the plugs with a MSD 7 digital box would you recommend? Right now I'm at .025.

Yes, give it a try. You need to adjust to lengthen the turnbuckle. Use a sharpie to mark the flat that is facing out. This will give you a reference to know where you are. Turn it 2 or 3 flats leaner & see where that gets you. Then you can go back richer for racing if necessary.

Oh hey I have done the turn buckle thing. What's funny everyone say 1 to 3 flats. That is such a small af change on my wide band. Today I'm going to try a drastic move. I am going to take the main jet out and see how lean it gets. That will at least tell me if it's in fact adjusting. Seems like it's not really doing much when I change the jet.

Latest update, I am a nuckle head. On the out poppet it was set to 40#. I changed it to about 10#. I also stuck the main return and the secondary hose in a gas can. I then started the car and watched what the hoses did. It seems at very little throttle the secondary bleeds off along with the main. The more throttle you give it the main takes over. Seems like what you would want it to do. I went for a little cruise around the block. Definitely better. Still a little fat. About 7.5 cruising. I would like to see 8.2 cruising and 7.2-7.5 wot. I will make a little bit larger jet for the secondary poppet.(I'm a machinist)
More work tomorrow.

You could lower the pop off pressure down to about 5 or 6# to see if that helps. I believe the recommended range is 2-5. Also, what is the pop off pressure on the secondary?

The main pop off is set at 2-3 lb. the secondary is set at about 10 lb. the secondary seems like the adjustment pop off for very slight throttle from what I see with the gas can.

Update. Secondary pop off has a .165 jet in it and is set at about 10lb. Main jet is a .125 with .038 nozzles. Light throttle I'm at about 7.5AFR and WOT about 7.2AFR. Tomorrow I will up secondary jet another .010 and see where part throttle is. I may go to a .135 main too.
