Well Bean, kinda worried about you & this FoMoCo thing that you are embarking on. I think that maybe you should at least put a Buwak motor in da B-Bird or something GM. Quitting GM's cold turkey can lead to some serious withdrawal symptoms!!!   ;D |

its possible but I'm all about the challenge and it seems that the BBF is a real good foundation, just gotta find a good set of heads for the think, If you run across a set of BBF heads give me a call, what I'm looking for is a set of used aluminum cobra jets, people are going to the Kaase P-51 heads and selling there old heads so that's what I'm looking for.

Nickel, there are a bunch of those pulling rigs out there, mud drags? the BBF's are used a lot in that kinda stuff

i got drug back into the automotive dealer buisness again by a old freind (fojf) freind of john force.
i'm running the recon center for peruzzi imports automotive group .
not alot of time till i hit the xmas wall.
the e85 stable is getting updates!
the vega is getting custom stainless headers and a freshen up .think i nipped a valve or a weak spring .8.50 index
the 4dr is getting mini tubed and double caliper 9" rear and longer shock mounts . trying for 7.99
the monte carlo was traded out for a lighter ranger drag radial chassis .same sbc and glide .
the blazer ran outta of cyl heads and cam so the baddest 23* (21.5) are now in hand .big quench and 13-1 now .ready for 8.50 index
the shelbygt350 is running good at 10.60 .no plans
the pontiac is in a buddies stable possible sale pending
the moostang gt is now 377 and a small blower air /air ntercooler for 10.00 index
(two big blowoffs on a digiset timer )
should mph its azz off
sent in our purposal to amerigreen for another fuel sponsor ship ...fingers crossed

the 55 got a glide and 10" nos converter .she is gettin a complete rewire job .stainless headers and 3"x pipe
i got a real preaty qft e85 carb i gotta fix for her .
i had it on the shelby last season and i had to put a 50cc pump and a 50 squirter to get it right .think there is a restriction some where as the pump spring pushes the pump way after the throttle goes full.
were looking at 11.50 index and superstreet class for the 55 .
these dang fomoco thingys are just wrong
found out the shelby trans has a short gearset in it. thus the lack of 60 ft.
so i built a 850 annular e85 demon for it and putting the stock gear in it .
hope to get it to 10.20/40's for janet and use the trans brake this year .
brother 4dr is shaping up to be a real handfull .the plan is to number one qual in s/s and steel the bye run and run it in 8.50 index . that way we can get 3 passes and build a data base for the boost timer /et ratio
still waiting on cam ...argh from crane for the blazer . with the weight brakes we should get that in the 8.50 index easy .... we seem to think everything will show up march 28th and give use 6 sleepless night
